About Me

Hi, I'm Lindsay and I am a freelance CV writer based in Hockley, Essex. 

Between 2002 and 2018, I successfully partnered with numerous businesses across various sectors including Food Service, Automotive, Gaming and Betting, Health & Fitness, and Retail, to drive and manage complex HR and recruitment strategies.  I have extensive experience in effective talent acquisition, performance development, and general HR process. 

In 2020, following a 2-year career break to raise my daughter, I started Lindsay Suzanne CV Writing and since then I have supported hundreds of wonderful clients to understand their true career potential and identify skills they never even knew they had!

Writing your CV is tricky....we're not great at highlighting our achievements and shouting about how fantastic we are! Job seeking and applications can be hard to navigate, and without a winning CV, it's even harder!

My process always starts with a free 15-minute discovery call to meet you and to figure out exactly what you need. If I don't think I can help you, then I have a network of exceptionally talented CV writers and career coaches who possibly could. I'll always be 100% honest with you, and if you ask anyone who knows me, I'm black and white-no hidden agenda.

People often ask me why I love what I do. I think my main drive is the confidence it gives to clients. When a client sees their career history and achievements from somebody elses perspective, it makes them appreciate how hard they have worked and just how well they have done. It also gives them the confidence to go to an interview with a new-found zest for their career and the drive to make a difference in that next role.
